Anyone have recommendations for RV parks in this area? We need something not too tight and large enough to house a 40+ft 5vr.

We stay at Moon Valley on Hwy 160 between Pagosa Springs and South Fork. There is also Goodnight's Lonesome Dove and Riverbend Campgrounds near us. You would have to cross over Wolf Creek Pass to reach the South Fork campgrounds.

We stayed several years ago at the Pagosa Riverside campground. Nothing to write home about, but certainly adequate. Site was plenty big enough for our 37 ft 5er. Most of our neighbors were a group that came there for several weeks every summer - a very friendly bunch.
Don't remember the name, but on the way into town we passed a small but VERY high-end Resort on the river. Their sign said motorhomes only, but they did have a couple of top-of-the-line 5th wheels parked there.
