Thinking of heading down to the Oregon Inlet Campground in April. I'm guessing things will be quiet there in the off season but not sure if the weather is to unpredictable that time of year. Rain, floods and high winds can be a bummer.
Your thoughts and experience would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice! We are pretty flexible with the weather but if it is known to be a bad idea to camp down there that early in the season I knew folks here would know.

Have been down there a couple of times in April. We've had both gorgeous warm weather and cold nasty weather. Weather is unpredictable, period. Just be prepared for both.
