Tonight look for a moon/Mars conjunction. Should be beautiful, Mars just over moon.

I usually bring my Celestron Nexstar 5 when camping. It's just the right size for portability and light gathering.

Last night was beautiful at Claytor Lake State Park and a telescope is always an attention getter. I showed some folks double stars and a few globular clusters. Saturn is wonderful with the rings almost at maximum inclination.
