there's a website I'm on that's reported a compressor, brand new in box, a Dish Tailgater that was padlocked and chained to the motorhome, and also a generator out of a truck.

All of these things were chained and padlocked. Someone sure must have slept well, not sure I could sleep through the noise of someone cutting a cable :@

we buy meat there, and then go to Dollar General for the dry goods and milk is only $2.85/gallon. Walmart is $3.38. A good savings, I think 🙂
That is good, although I've seen some long lines at DG.

Some are just addicted to Wal*Mart.

I have little choice at home...either Walmart or Safeway.

yuk on both accounts lol

We have been going for years without any issues. We camp with our "gang" far enough away from the crowds and have a ball.

Hmmm

Was considering making it to the Q this year but maybe I should wait to get the solar mounted. I bet those big panels would be attractive to someone that thought they liked them more than we did.

People that look at that picture and comment Ready-Fire-Aim style is ridiculous. It is exactly akin to looking at a picture of any downtown area in any city in the US with NO other information, then say they would never live there, they hate crowds, and every other unfounded negative comment from people that have never been within 500 miles of this event.

That picture was taken at 400' showing a tent and a parking lot, and you guys are drawing your conclusions from that? Really? Does anyone here realize that the BLM camping areas extends for 10 miles in all directions from this tent?

DD and I went there last year, we had a great time. I stayed at a nice
campground on one of the main drags. I'm not much on boondocking, no issues at the campground.

There was really only 1 decent grocery with not much selection but his meat was good. We drove maybe 80 miles ?? round trip to a Walmart to get major supplies.
It was fun to visit, not sure I will go back but was a good trip.

definitely I look at the ding and dent often.

and, the blm this year? I"m getting claustrophobia. A whole lot of people apparently think camping right next to you and running a generator is ok. Hope they don't run it much today. I could use some peace and quiet after yesterday lol

and, we're about as far out in the desert as the blm will allow.

I "get" the groups. But, we aren't in a group. Don't camp next to me. I get kinda cranky lol
