Flo Jet Macerator powered by auxillary jump box

I have recently purchased a flo jet portable waste pump and purchased a portable jump box to power it. On the web i can not find suitable 12vt male plug and e trailer says that I can connect it dirtectly to the jump box(how?) and not use the jump function(alligator clips/switch controlled). Online I found several posts saying to just use the jump function.
which should i trust?

i decided on buying the shumacher 22ah portable box for an in truck inverter to charge my wife's nikon batteries, air pump onsite/trucks, poop pump power, and power the sirius boom(off grid) and movie projector(off grid).

Five uses for $120/20lbs It has 1200amp jumper cables. Do activate the jumpers, hook directly to poop cannon cables and let it rip? I do not want to damage the $300 poop pump.

Now, now! Let's not forget, or learn, that AGMs are lead acid batteries as well.

I'm sure you meant to say wets, sloshies, legacy or some such descriptive terms for the spillable batteries.

Both AGM and Gels are lead acid. The difference is that these are VRLA, or Valve Regulated Lead Acid. These don't need to be upright.

Now, don't confuse these with 'maintenance free' which are sloshies inside but do have the VR too keep the nasty stuff from spilling. These will not operate unless upright.

Each type has their best use classification.

P.S., I use AGMs.

This the jump box I got a year or so ago. Seems to work well, and holds a charge a long time. I have used for my 12v air compressor and SurFlo pump without any problems.

Schumacher uses an AGM 18 or 22AH The competition uses lead acid junk.

I have a couple of these Portable Jump Start units that I used alot back in my tent camping days. Batteries in them have long ago gone bad. This version has the air pump and cigarette light receptacle. I think I got these from Radio Shack???

I was trying to kill 4 birds with one stone. Shave weight and not lug the minn kota, have a durable remote powersource to power the poop pump to/from external tank to where ever, and have an semi decent air compressor, and remote power source for canoe camping.

Those power packs are mostly junk from the get go and will keep looking. Shumaker seems to get the best reviews.

I already have the 2000w yamaha, minn box, jon boat, canoe ect!

I used the same connectors as RoyB, but I ran 10ga wire direct from my battery to the site where I will plug in the FloJet. Works great and the wire was easy to hide going through my basement.

I have this box already on my Jon boat. Utilize a true deep cycle extra battery, and save the $120. The 60 amp resettable fuse trips when you run the trolling motor through thick vegetation. Much smarter technology, and a reliable power source.

Forget it, I cancelled the portable box and will just use the minn kota charging station. Heavy AGM 85AH, fused 15amp accessory ports, and 60 amp posts to connect the Poop Cannon.

Of course, I can't see what you have but most jump boxes have a standard cigar lighter receptacle. Your pump should be drawing a lot less than 40 amps. Do you have a link to the jump box?

The pump has a 20amp fuseon the trigger.
The box has a 40amp fused 12VDC, 15 amp hour battery, useless radio, 260psi air pump, 400amp jumpers, and two inverter outlets.

Seemed like a good booning item at 20lbs vs 100lb minn kota box.

I see the male with alligator clips on amazon. Just never see anything higher than 15amp inline fuses for that connection.
