We are about to yank out the nasty carpet!! Does anyone have advice and/or pictures on how to deal with the slides? Our slides are flush with the floor when extended.

Wish I could find someone to replace my "nasty" carpet. Would not want anything else. We travel in cold regions at times and the tile in the kitchen is so cold you can't stand on it without carpet runners. Why would I get rid of the comfy carpet in the bedroom and living room only have to buy a bunch of rugs to walk on?
Of course, this is my opinion only and not meant to be a condemnation of anyone else's choices.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Usually, the slides are elevated so that the carpet and pad don't get ruined. Choose your new flooring so it doesn't get in the way of the slides, i.e. at the same height or lower than original.
