help with fogged windows in car or truck ??

I am not sure where to post this and apologize if I am wrong. I saw this video and will try it at first chance. I wanted to share it with you as well. Looks so simple and cheap that it just might work. :S

Wouldn't turning on the defroster be much simpler?after all that's what it's made for!

I always have defrost on and fan on low,turning bit of heater on when weather is cool blows the moisture away quick..

Do not run the HVAC on recirc and you will see a huge improvement.

Living in Wisconsin my whole life I've never had a problem with windows steaming up in the inside while parked. While driving I always have the fan running to bring fresh air into the vehicle. That keeps the air fresh and gets rid of the stale humid air that would collect in the vehicle with no air circulation.

Great tip for those in much colder climates...

Here in Southern California,I just use the air conditioner and the defrost setting... The A/C removes the moisture while the defrost setting blows the dry warm air on the windows to remove the fog.

If there's no rain or snow in the forecast, leave your windows down 1/4" overnight. As the heat leaves so does the moisture vapour. I do it all the time during the season and rarely have frost or steam inside.
