I upgraded our outside kitchen grill and did a short video comparison of the Sidekick RV500 grill vs. the Camco Olympian 5500 grill. If you are considering buying either one of these grills, this is a must-see.

The only grill that has made it for more than 1 year has been this.

I have a 16 yo Olympian and it still works great and cooks very evenly. Last year I got a big Charbroiled true infrared for home and I love it. Now I see they have a True infrared camp grill and that will be my next one if I ever replace the Olympian. BTW, the biggest advantage of the true infrared is no flare up even when cooking sausages or cheap burgers. Craig

We live a block from the ocean and use it quite often. Of course, we take care of our things, some don't i guess. The bag is the ticket! It all fits inside perfectly and protects everything like a glove.

I use a stainless steel Aussie, purchased from Big 5 on sale for $89. Has an upper rack, electronic ignitor, and a thermometer in the lid. Holding up great so far (2 years).

Nice video, but a bit unfair to compare a brand new Camco with a 3 year old Sidekick, don't you think?

I don't think so. He was pointing out the cheapness of the RV500 for $160.00 VS the quality for the other one for $150.00
