Oxygenics RV Shower install: A problem

Okay, so I went to install the Oxygenics shower head and ran into an issue. It connects just fine, but when I turn on the water, it gets stopped at the base of the hose connecting to the shut off valve. I have attached a picture for a better visual. What would cause this? It appears the connection on the inside of the rubber isn't tight enough or something, as I can pull down on it and it cuts the water flow and forces it out of the shower head. What am I missing?!

Go back to your trash can and take another look in the packageing. The washers were probably loose in the package.

Maybe you have two washers stuck to the old one check.

Was there a black rubber washer where you hook up the hose to the shower head?

Check for a gasket. Also try switching the hose ends around, the ends might be just a little different enough to work. I know they should be the same but quality parts are hard to find.
