17.5 in wheels and tires

Considering the move to 17.5 inch wheels and tires after a short life and a blowout on a set of Goodyear G614s. Anybody made the move? Any advice?

I bought a new 29-5T in March 2013. Pulled it from the dealership in Mesa to my home in East Texas and put new 17.5 wheels and tires on it immediately. After pulling it about 6K miles, I am completely satisfied with the wheels and tires and would definitely do it again. Kinda lightens the hip pocket, but the peace of mind is worth it. Good luck.

Can you tell me about the differences you have noticed? Handling? Wear? Holding pressure?

We put them on in winter 2011. We work full time and get out in our 37ft Cameo when we can. We estimate about 10,000 miles...and that's conservative.
