2 people and a Miata.

I've been wading through web sites for a couple of weeks and haven't found what I'm looking for. I wondering if anyone makes a hauler with about 13' of Miata space, that once unloaded makes a comfortable camper for 2 people. I think it should be a 5th wheel, so maybe a rear bed room, front lounge.

The car is 156" x 66" and weighs 2100 pounds. Any idea where to look for such an animal?

I doubt what I'm looking for exists. It was a "vision" I had when I stumbled on a front lounge 5th wheel. I've looked at dozens of websites and hundreds of floor plans. I've seen the floor plan I picture, but not in a hauler.

If you got the bucks, a hi-end company will build it for you.

I think there are many that will "fit" the car inside, it is getting it in there. Your problem is going to be finding a ramp angle that that won't cause the Miata to bottom out going up the ramp and into the trailer.

I would look at "work and play" brand, they might have a low enough deck to be able to get it in there.

My 2014 Stealth bumper pull is rated to carry 2500 in the garage. Would have to check garage length and width tonight. AK2612 is the model #. Pics in a different post here on the forum. Pulls fine with one HD in the garage.

There are a number of toyhauler options that would fit a 13' vehicle. What's your tow vehicle? It sounds like you're OK with an open garage vs separate... Are you trying to keep it under a certain length?

However, I don't think I've ever seen a toyhauler with a rear bedroom as the main bedroom. Some garages have drop down/fold down beds in them but I wouldn't call that the main bedroom. Majority of them have front bedroom, then living/kitchen area, and all have the garage in the back. I think I've only seen one or two that have the living room in the front and the bedroom in the middle, and they're monster size trailers.
