Hi All, I am interested in this model but just don't see a whole lot of info posted. I see they changed the hitch weight from 800 on the 2016 MY to 1,120 on the 2017 MY. Is that enough? My plan is to put a Kawasaki Brute Force 650 up front (pull it right up to the oven) then a 2016 2 seat rzr turbo in the back.

Are there any other bumper pull toy haulers with a gvwr around 12 or 13K Lbs with at least 16 ft of drive in space?

My tow rig is a 2012 Ram 3500 megacab cummins.

Thank you for any help.

Aside from build quality issues on mine the axels were to far forward by a foot or better. From what I understand they made a change to axel placement which is why the heavier tongue weight now. Mine swayed like a tree in a hurricane with a load. I had to get rid of mine way to many problems and lost love. That was a mfg date 8/14 model...I would hope they are on track now.

Thank you AMG for your responses. I hope I don't have that many problems with what ever I order from them.

My Forest River Stealth WA2916 (now they call it in 2017 a FQ2916) has 16' of space, and like 12.1k GVWR, about 8.4k dry. 35' long, bumper pull. I pull it easy with my 2012 F-250 diesel.

Hi AMG, please reply with your review of the 2916. Now I am looking at the Stealth 2817 or it's equivalent from Shockwave, or Sandstorm and would love some current feedback.

Thank you

I have seen most reviews from folks online have been positive. I had some real issues with mine, which all seem to be fixed now. I think all manufactures are guilty of this in some aspect; and I think I just got unlucky. They assemble these things so quickly, the person who does the true QA on it, is the owner.

My slide out broke 1st day out.
* reason being improperly installed sink, which leaked on to an improperly installed controller for the slide out. Dealer fixed all.
My couch fell off the wall
* reason being installer didnt use the right screws. 100% obvious once it ripped off the wall and you can see they were wrong. Dealer installed proper screws.
Fridge propane was a ***** to light
* reason being 1. air in the lines 2. that whole fridge compartment was just insanely riddled with saw dust, pieces of wood, etc. They said that area was clogged up, took cleaning it all out and making sure the pilot lit properly
Both drapes fell off the wall, and 2 blinds fell off the wall
* reason is just that they screw all this stuff in with shitty little screws that there is nothing to screw in to mostly. It drills through the thin wall material, and there were no studs behind those areas. I fixed these with MORE screws in more places to increase strength
Toilet constantly ran
* reason was a bad Dometic valve. dealer replaced
Some mold appeared inside near the wall/ceiling area
* reason was due to the slide out issue. They re-installed the motors and did a **** job on the weather stripping. Dealer replaced the outside rubber stripping, cleaned off the mold, ensuring none more, then re-sealed it all

ALL issues are currently fixed.

Other than my issues, I think that the interior is nicely designed and looks upscale. The mattress sucks, but dealers always use **** mattresses. The generator, fuel station, doors, back door, appliances, shower, electric beds, etc. all work great, zero issues.

I think it really comes down to what you can get it for. I think my sticker price was like 58k? I paid $36k. I have the 160 gallon fresh, 80 gallon gray, 40 gallon black, Onan, TV's, I forget.. all that crud. What an insane difference in price, right? And I truly think I could have gotten it for cheaper, since I was walking to my truck to leave and they ran out after me and said YES YES. I should have played more hard ball.
