There is an option to have three AC's on the XLR Thunderbolt and it is run by something called an "Energy Management System". Whatever that means?
An Energy Management System watched your load vs. your supplied power amps, whether it be shore power or generator. Some systems have a simple switch on the EMS panel where you select your input (20, 30, 50 amps). The EMS will shed load based on that and/or make sure things like 3 a/c units don't fire up at the same time causing too much of a load.

1L243, you have not been looking very hard. 90% of all 42'+ coaches have 3 ac's and some of your tour groups have as many as 5 on their rolling homes. The "new" systems will allow all 3 to start and run simultaneously on a 50a ckt. There are multiple 40'+ fivers here in the park with 3 ac's on the roof, along with the motorhomes.
Actually I said TT and Fifth wheels I am very aware that 45 foot class A's have 3 AC's but they have a very sophisticated electrical system and cost alot of money... We live near a 5 Star RV resort with near 200 sites and I actually spent alot of time there and never have seen a TT or Fiver with 3 AC's. I guess 3 AC's are more popular in AZ than Oregon...

I am thinking that running two AC's on a 30amp or three on a 50amp system is going to require some kind of electrical management control. ie if your running all your AC's amd then flick on the Microwave or Coffee maker it's going to shut down one of the AC's till the load passes.

Like other posters have said if you can get all 3 get them...doesn't mean you have to use them, plus prob cheaper installed before rather than afterward.
