Alfa Leisure See Ya SYF35RL Slide motor and seal

Hi
we have a Alfa Leisure See Ya SYF35RL and it sees the motor and seal for the main slide is not working.
Anyone have this happen? Is it a big repair?

These are the service techs from the old Alfa factory.
We have had good luck with phone advice from them if you are not close to them.
We had slide problems too and they helped DH troubleshoot several things after the local service shop messed things up completely. Be sure to upgrade the wiring to heavy duty battery cable wiring. It made a huge difference for our slide after everything else was fixed.

There are some tests that should be done first before knowing what might be wrong. Is there voltage going to the slide motor as these are not hydrulic slides? I'm not sure as I understand the "seal" situation. Did you try to crank it in by hand? By the way I'm an Alfa owner.
