Bedroom TV no reception?

I have a 2011 Montana 5th wheel. First time camping in unit. We are in a campground hooked up to cable. Have TV in living room working fine. Hooked up to COACH cable inlet. I assume that means both TV's. Have tried to scan channels in Bedroom TV. Can not get anything on Bedroom TV. Have tried several times on every type of Cable type. I would think auto scan would fine any or all stations on the cable. I even went directly from another cable output directly to the Sat/Cable inlet for bedroom only. All wire seem to be hooked up. Even tried to use outside antenna on air setting. Still nothing. Is there something I am missing, switch? another cable? Any help would be appreciated.

Let me take a stab at it...

If you are new to this situation, do you have a "Video Selector Switch Box" in the main TV compartment? Check to see it is turned on, hooked up correctly and the correct buttons are pushed in.

Hi bcircus------Had the same problem with our 2015 5er. Could not get a signal from the outside sat/cable connection point to the bedroom sat/cable connection point. Living area and bedroom have separate feeds. Living area worked just fine. Not sure if you ever installed a connector on coaxial cable. To prepare you have to remove the outer covering exposing a braid & aluminum shielding, then the insulator foam, cutting away to expose the main center wire that carries the signal. I found my problem at the "connector" on the outside utility compartment. The person who installed the coaxial connector at the factory did not notice the piece of braid wire that wrapped around the center wire, creating a dead short in the signal. Replaced the connector and problem solved. Good Luck -- Hope this helped.

The cable to the bedroom TV may not be connected. All those connections will probably be where your roof top ant amp is located. i.e. near living room TV. One of those cables, possibly 2 should go to the bedroom. May or may not be labled.

Try connecting cable direct to TV. if it still doesn't work, problem is TV. If it does, problem is wiring. On a new unit, the cables may not be attached to the TV at all.

Thank you, I have tried all of that. Have run through the menu and options several times.

Try the menu on the bedroom TV. Make sure the input is correct. Should be set to cable. If you have nothing hooked directly, the problem is most likely the TV. Input select the most likely cause.
