We are buying our first 5th wheel, a 2007 Gulf stream Mako 28rfbh. It looks to be in pretty good shape, we went through it top to bottom and had them fix or replace anything that wasn't right. Also had them install an awning topper over the slide. Can't wait, we pick it up next Friday. Does anyone have any good or bad to say about Gulf stream?

I bought a 2011 Gulfstream TT. I wasn't too impressed with the workmanship. Specifically the sloppiness from the different trades involved in the build. Scraps left all over behind cabinets, etc. We have had no major problems.

With that said, I did read an article where sometime around 2010 Gulfstream had a 100%+ increase in sales. When you have to increase production by double in that short period of time there are definitely going to be problems.

We are planning on a new fifth wheel and it has boiled down to two: Gulfstream 33FSBI and Sabre 34REQS. We are going to take a factory tour of both and then decide.
