My only option if I wanted more height is lift blocks on the camper unfortunately. I dont want to have to do that though.

I've raised the pin box as high as possible (MorRyde) and dropped the Andersen Ball as low as possible. I'm about 1" nose high with 8.5" bed rail clearance.

Just got back from the repair shop. Coolest guys I've met in the business thus far. Ending price was only $106 tax included lol and I wound up with a gain of 1 3/4 in. Bedrail clearance is know 6in and the jacked the truck and trailer all around to test clearance. Everything checked out good, ready to haul. Thanks for everyone's replys 1

One of the members here just gave me direction last week on how to post pics but that was from photobucket. I could only post pics from my computor and the Ipad would not work for some reason.

Maybe my clearance is good. I have 5 1/2 to 6 but had to change my pants after turning of a high to low road the other day. Any of you guys have issues with that height? Maybe I turned to sharp.

Take it for what it's worth, but I've been pulling 5th wheels since 1996 and was always told that 8" clearance is preferred with 6" minimum. You almost found out why.

I didn't know any better with our first 5th wheel and crashed the 5th wheel overhang into a bed rail coming off of I-75 onto a steep driveway ramp to a fuel station in Kentucky. That one cost me $650 in body work back in 1996. Nothing like a sharp blow to the wallet to teach me THAT lesson.

Thanks Rusty I can imagine the made you sick. Im going to get the leaf springs set to the bottom adjustment. I raised my hitch another notch today. Hopefully the combo of the two gets me where I need to be.

Can you post a pic of your truck / trailer combo? I would like to compare to what I have going on.

Even with a 9" clearance I have come close to hitting while turning on inclines. I almost setup in primitive areas and the biggest issue is maneuvering into a spot while dealing with dips and inclines.

If I can navigate down the roads safely, ill pull my slide back for the maneuver. With the hitch slid back it squats my truck a few more inches. The only negative is i have to pull the tailgate off to slide, and the back up camera is a pain in the but for some reason
