Check the power requirements. Some "apartment" type want 220V for the dryer.
A 240VAC dryer will work fine in an RV - IF you have 50 amp service and have the dryer plug wired to the power distribution center (breaker panel) for 240VAC. Depending on the generator selected (if applicable), you may or may not be able to use the dryer when on generator power.
The 240VAC dryer will typically dry more quickly than the 120VAC dryer used in most RVs. If your usage profile (primarily using 50 amp shore power) allows it, you might want to talk to your RV manufacturer about supplying a 240VAC dryer if ordering a new 5th wheel.
