compare suspension between toy tote and swivel wheel

Looking to compare toy tote with the swivel wheel under the center with no shock suspension. Has up and down motion from receiver's, how would this compare to the cruise lift swivel wheel model which has two single swivel wheels with torsion suspension on each wheel. These are mounted on the rear of the frame not under center.Looking for comparison in the two different suspensions for hauling a motorcycle and for weight distribution on rear of camper.

The Smart Trailer put roughly 1/2 the weight on the trailer hitch/es. I had about 1200 lbs. and about 600 lbs. transferred to the 5th wheel.

But I was loading two bikes and didn't have much wiggle room. If you're only loading one bike you could load it further to the rear and probably not have such a high percentage of weight on the 5th wheel.

I am looking at one also but I am looking the Idaho tote and the toy tote. The thinking behind the toy tote is that it has the wheels in the middle and it might not twist as much on rough terrain and the Idaho tote because it seems a little more solid and I like the idea of the bigger wheels.

The twisting side to side is handled (on the swivelwheel, and I am guessing on any other unit) by a swivel between the trailer and the 5th, if you catch my meaning. The swivel allows the trailer to remain flat on the ground while the 5th takes a corner.

Also, I had to back up my 5th and swivel into a spot that went sharply up a hill at the back of the spot. It caused the swivel to canter up about 10=15 degrees. These trailers are designed to handle many different angles. The bike was well strapped on and did not move the 3 days we were there. Just a fyi.

Thanks for the reply. Swivel wheel does not make a trailer for my needs as I want to use it to haul 2 ATVs so that is why I am looking at the other two brands but the Idaho Tote does not look like it can handel any twisting other than in the trailer suspension and I drive on a lot of gravel roads.

Thanks everyone for your information. Would like to ask the swivel wheel pullers if you noticed much difference in weight being put on the rear of the camper with the wheels being on he back of the frame. I'm looking at several models and would greatly appreciate all your input.

Smart trailer also makes a 3 wheel that puts very little weight on the rear of the FW.

I had a Smart Trailer that had the two wheels with suspension. It worked very well.

One concern with the wheel/s in the center is that you cannot avoid anything in the road since you have three sets of tracks. The two wheels out near the edge give you better stability and follow in the same tire tracks as the tow vehicle.

To me the single wheel in the center really doesn't offer anything not done better by the two single wheels near the edge. And don't forget many states have regulations against double towing.
