Condensation line behind refrigerator

I have a 2008 Cougar rear kitchen. The condensation line outside is falling a part and I need to replace it. I can't reach up high enough outside thru the access port.

Is my next best action to pull the refrigerator inside to gain access to the line?

Suggestions? Thanks in advance! Ru

I got mine out and came out just like in the picture.

Drain with old hose

The problem I have now is the hole in the back of the refig is too small for the hose to fit thru. I found some clear tygon tubing that fits inside. Its 5/16" OD and 3/16 ID.

Clear hose inside

Question: will the smaller opening be large enough for the drain?

I don't think it will seal with caulk, any suggestions for how to seal it?

I just pushed a 1/4 clear fuel line into the hole leaving the original cracked line in place. When I got towards the end when pushing it through, I put some silicone on it to seal it up.

Easy peazy....

I still need to do mine. So it would be good to hear back on how well it works for you. And any gotcha's you find along the way.

Great link! That would be much better than pulling the refer for sure! I'll give that a shot this week! Thanks!

BB_TX, thanks for the link. Maybe I can start using the coffee cup for what it was meant for ๐Ÿ™‚

I replaced my hose on my 2016 as soon as I bought it. I used braided poly tubing so it would not kink. I also drilled a hole in the floor and ran it the the underside instead of having it just stick through the vent. Loop the drain so it makes a trap to stop air from coming in.

Something like this must have happened on my camper. The PO just turned the drip tray around and put a coffe cup under it on the fridge shelf.

Hey. It works ๐Ÿ™‚
