We are looking at the Forrest River Primetime Manufacturing Crusader 315RST. Do any of you have experience with Crusaders? The only thing I don't like is the sofa. It is more like a love seat and I like to lay on the sofa. Otherwise it seems to be a nice camper. We want a middle of the road camper. We want more of a camper than a second home. Your thoughts?

I own a 2014 Crusader 295rst. It has had some warranty issues but prime time has always been great to deal with even after warranty. It was and is BY FAR the best value for $$. I have many expensive rig features in my mid priced unit ie dual panes, auto levellers, pd 90 4 stage charger. PT really seems to care about the product.

We had a 2014 Primetime Lacrosse and now have a 2015 Crusader 315rst and we love it. Ours has the sofa (wife usually sits there) and the theater seating (recliners) The floor plan works great for us because it is just us 2.

The Lacrosse was never in the shop and the Crusader has been there twice, both times were my fault though.

Floor delaminated in our rig. Primetime repaired the area once but the delamination continued. Would have cost us $2-3 thousand to repair again. Our slide bottoms were OK but kept wondering when it would happen to us. We traded our rig with full disclosure to the dealer. Not sure I would buy again. Do check out the Primetime Owners forum.

We looked at the same Crusader model this winter during show season and liked it. It addressed many of the issues that we had with out current unit. We tried to buy but could never work out the numbers. Soon after, we looked at the Grand Design Reflection 337RLS.it has a similar layout to the Crusader but we liked it even better. We did get those numbers to work and have been very happy with the unit and the Grand Design customer service is awesome.

2013 330MKS. Great camper and the love sofa/sleeper is a piece of junk. Seldom sit on it and the stuffing in the sofa has started to fail. Replaced the one piece love seat with Lazy Boy recliners.

There is a known issue with the bottom of the slides that have the Darco wrap. It bunches and tears and Primetime has ignored the issue. The Darco will wick water at the edges and quickly rot. Some of us owners have added a metal edge to protect that area. Go to the Primetime forum for more info. Mine came with the EZ Flex but no wet bolts have some on order. About 10,000 miles and 2 years this month with no issues. Would buy again IF it did not have the Darco
