I will agree on the argument that today's SRW's have more everything about them compared to older SRW's, BUT, BUT IMO, I don't think I would be slapping 3500-4000 lbs pin wt OR a cpmbo of 24K+ on a SRW (even today's SRW's). I thought my '15 F350 SRW,cc,6.7,sb,4x4 was going to be my last truck until we got the new RV last year. While it towed it fine and had no problems last year, I had this nagging feeling in pit of my stomach this past late winter as our summer vaykay plans were taking us to FL in height of summer heat. I admit, I wasn't too concerned about the truck being over weight, but WAS concerned about the tires. Bothered me to the point that we ended up getting a dually. Didn't want to. However, I will say, it WAS a smart decision. Likewise, still see a lot of triple axles TH getting towed by SRW trucks as well as some pretty hefty dual axles 5ers. Still miss my sb,cc for everyday things, but definitely like how the dually tows.
