Since there does not currently seem to be a Jayco owners forum, Moderator Frank has graciously allowed this thread. It will be for discussing Jayco related questions and comments. Anything not Jayco related will be deleted. Sounds more than fair to me. Thank-you Frank!

I'm not sure if the outlets run the same on our unit, but the RLSA power runs to a junction box under what would be your street side bathroom floor in the service area. It then proceeds back to the fridge. For Electric this should only run on 120VAC. I would e-mail or call Jayco and have them send you the 120V diagram for your unit to help you track your issue down.

I have used "Rejex" on my Designer... it is now two years old and it looks as good as the day I bought it. It's a little harder to put on and off than some others but I believe it is well worth it.
If it moves but shouldn't, use Duct Tape. If it doesn't move but should, use WD40.

Ok guys had the refrigerator stop working on electric this weekend...

Through all the testing I did I found no power going to the electrical outlet where the refrigerator plugs into (located inside the outside access door for the refrigerator)...

Anyone know if this is connected to a fuse or maybe a GFI outlet? (only GFI's I know of are the bathroom and kitchen and maybe outside entertainment system plug) Any help?

I have been using Protectall folowed by 303. Use Maquires couple times a year too. Tried the Maquires cleaner wax along with Gel Gloss, neither helped. Going to a marine store to see what they have. Saw some Protectall oxidation remover, thinking about giving it a try.

Hmm, mine has never done that? As for the front cap, I need something along the lines of a compound, etc. A medium duty restore type wax. I have a guy who is good with a buffer but I'd like to provide the wax that I know is SAFE for gel coat fiberglass.

That happened to us a couple of times, both times in Northern AZ ... (Prescott and Camp Verde). Never could explain it ... and hassn't happened since the dealer HAD to replace the front cap !!

right now I am using 303 only, about every two months, just a light application. .
It is gleaming too early to tell how this will work long term. from what I have researched I should be all right.

I would like to know if any of you have had this problem. We had been sitting in Tucson for the last two weeks. When we went to move I had to raise the front of the camper to hook up our truck. When I raised the front water came out from under the area behind the pin box. After another rain I checked the floor in our bedroom and in the closet and found nothing. I also got on top of the camper and the roof looks as it should, I also checked all the calking around the front cap. The day temps were above 110 and it is there monsoon season so when the rain came it was brief but very heavy. This has never happened before to us how about you?

Do you guys use a pressure washer to wash the rig? Will it damage decals, gel coating or roof?

I waxed ours with maguires car wax, looks great. Problem we've encountered is our decal started to peel slightly. We called Jayco and and they offered to replace it. We chose to have them send decal directly to us to replace when it really gets bad. Answer your question...a good boat wax will help the cap look great, just avoid the decals

Anybody else noticing that their front cap is starting to look dull? It has been waxed but I am wondering if it needs a high speed buff with some of the good stuff?

Could any one tell me the type of hydraulic strut is used for the bedroom closet door that hold the television. Could you give me measurements (open and Closed)? Thannks. My Eagle is equipped with all the hardware to do the install, but there is no strut, although, the mounts are there.

Just a quick laugh for y'all -- a young boy visited during our family reunion. He stood in the kitchen (the area with the highest ceiling) and announced that this was the smallest RV he'd ever seen!! His grandmother told him, "It's much bigger than ours (a 28' trailer). He said, "This is the smallest RV I've seen! There's only one bed!!! Where do the kids sleep??" I guess it's all in your perception!!!

PRECISELY why we bought this model. Visit, party, have fun....then the rest a y'all go home. 'cept Ashliegh every now and again...17yr olds dont like hanging out with "the parents".. oh well we'll miss her some day.
