As of now I have dish, pay as you go, My son has Direct TV in his house. He does not have an RV but I do, So the million dollar question, If I buy another receiver can I get Direct TV about 200 miles from his house without interrupting his services. I have an Vanguard portable dish, I know I have to change the setting from Dish to Direct.

Yes, but I'm not sure how you activate an access card without them knowing you plan on stealing service.

All you need to do is use the receiver out of the spare bedroom.
