I am thinking about converting my manual adjusting electronic brakes to self-adjusting. Anyone have any experience or issues with trying to do this?

Switched mine to self adjusters from Dexter. Not sure if I would do it again. They keep getting too tight and I keep loosening them. More work than manual adjusters.

Bought a new TH with self adjusting brakes - first camper I've had with
them. Love them.

I have the self-adjusting brakes on my 5th wheel and they seem to work well. And like was said it's not hard to change them out, just pay the money.

You are talking "electric" brakes not "electronic" brakes, right?

I replaced mine with disks. Yes they are self adjusting and provide superior braking. Well worth it.

Just get the proper replacement brake/backing plate assembly. 4 bolts, two wires and you're in business. Also, a good time to do a bearing repack while you're at it.
