Exterior cover for the winter? Brands and Recommendations?

I don't have a shop to store my 5th wheel for the winter here in Salem, Oregon and it rains a lot here. I am looking protect the RV during the winter months and looking for recommendations on what to look out for; brands and models to buy and so on. I heard it is important to get one with access and or be able to open the door for one. Also make sure it fits snuggle. So many things to do and so little time to do them in.

Had a cover on ours for about 7 years, was time to replace so just bought a used one off craigslist that was used for one season and is in great shape, it is an adco, they have worked well for us.

I used to live in sunny California and wanted to protect my Landmark from the sunlight. Purchased an ADCO cover and it seemed to fit well. Well, the wind whipped it and the black material left semi-permanent black marks on all of the raised seams around the trailer. Several rubbing points wore through and resulted in rips to the material. After all of the headaches and damages, it was the worst investment I've made for my RV. After one year the cover was trash.

Try a search on - to cover or not to cover - lots of opinions.

BTW - In re: Your recommendation:
Annie Lane can pound sand. Don't need her advice on how to "man up".
And......I enjoy being grumpy!!

We do cover ours with an ADCO SFS Aqua Shed. Paid just over $300 and free shipping at Amazon. This is our second cover...first one lasted 4 years. We do get wind here...no wind damage to the RV from the cover though. If you don't have a storage building I do recommend a fabric cover if you live anywhere like us with 24/7 rain most months.

We had an ADCO cover for our last trailer. (Too windy here where it's parked, so we sold the cover.) You can order them custom made, but the non-custom ones can be strapped to mostly fit - just be sure to get one that's at least as long as your trailer!! Ours was a breathable cover on the sides (the top is impermeable, of course), and it came with zippers in about 4 different locations along the length of the trailer, so we could access at least one door. I'd recommend this brand; ours served us well for at least 3 winters.
