I have a 30ft 5th wheel. My rear power vent will open up and when select air to go out it works but to slide switch over to bring cooler air in to the trailer it doesn't any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone before?

Also any ideas on removing the stock couch ? Do they go through the rear window or is the side door able to handle the angle of removing it? What did you guys ever do?

Thanks for the support

Thanks, when I go to the trailer I will look at the manufacturer and see if there is a manual in the glove box.
I will remove cover to see what we have maybe a loose wire.

As for the couch its a sleeper, which we want to replace with a regular standard couch. I figure they installed it with the couch through the rear window but you would think they would take into consideration removal at some point and make it so it would fit through the entrance door.

It pretty much boils down to whether it is the switch or the fan motor. The first thing to do with the vent fan is to check if the fan will spin in the reverse direction just by giving the blades a spin, and then check the switch and see if it is supplying power to the fan in reverse. My guess would be that the switch...isn't.

Some couches have backs that come off to make them easier to move. You didn't say if it was a sleeper sofa, or just a plain old sofa.

Not sure the vent, just know its a power vent with an opening button for the vent and then a switch for in and out motor fan. Plus the fan has a dial for low and high speed adjustment.
Its original to the 30ft 5th wheel.
