Prices could go up due to better quality in the process and just maybe due to switching to higher quality/lower defect parts. Not for the fines, accounting set aside for that potential probably back in 2013.

Prices are already marked up to the limit that the market will bear. If FR thought they could sell them for more, that would be the reason for a price increase. It's amazing what people will pay for wants verses needs.

Prices may go up but probably not because of this.

From the article " Forest River agreed as part of a consent order to pay a $35 million civil penalty, including a $5 million cash penalty and a $30 million deferred amount."

$30.00 mil will be "deferred" and will not have to be paid as long as FR keeps records as agreed.

That leaves $5 mil, which is a drop in the bucket for FR.
