I have a strange question

I am looking to buy a 5th wheel to live in full time. I am not interested in traveling in it as i will use it as my residence. It is possible to have it moved if i decide to relocate. I drive a mini-van and want not thinking of buying a tow vehicle with it being my residence.

I would be happy to move an RV as a favor but if it involved taking it on a highway it would have to be insured an insured. If the move was a few hundred miles it would get expensive for me to pay for fuel so I would expect to be compensated. I bet most people on the forum would probably do it for almost nothing if it was local and only charge enough to cover their expenses if it was going to cost them money to do a favor.

Most parks you will find a friendly neighbor who will move it for you for the cost of fuel and a case of beer.

Back in the days when diesels were for Kenworth's and Peterbuilt's, folks did that all the time. Transporters would haul their big ol' Teton to Arizona for the Winter and back North for the summer and they would just show up later with the car.

UMMM why not get a park model, they are more set up for "permanent" living, and they can be moved if you do need to relocate.
I have seen new park models for sale cheaper than a new fifth and bigger.
theres some 10 and 12 wides that are very roomy and comfortable, heck if I could I would put one in my back yard and live in it,, and rent my house out,

I bought a fifth wheel for the same purpose once. The dealer was happy to deliver it to the Rv Park where I wanted it and it was an hours drive over a mountain range.

I would imagine an rv dealer could deliver or provide a list of drivers that can deliver for a fee. I found rvmovers.net in a quick search.

Yes. Check with a local RV dealer who should be able to give you the name of someone who can move your 5th. wheel, for a price of course.

Sure. There are many professional towing outfits that will move it. You can also find many people in a Rv park that have a truck with a fiver hitch that will gladly move it for a reasonable price.
