I blew a tire yesterday coming home from Branson. They were 5 years old and came on the camper when we bought it. Trailer King ST225-R15. THey look so new and great tread but I always assume cheap tires on the campers when you buy them and 3 to 5 years is shelf life.

what do we switch to?

I replaced my previous tires with a higher load rating and Hartland from Discount tires. Couldn't be happier!

MAXXIS has the best rep in the ST tire market. Endurance is still building their rep.

However. if you got 5 years out of a set of ST tires, You are super lucky. I change mine after 3 years. EVERY TT tire I have blown has been in it's 4th year. No more.

My Westlake 15"s are holding up good, but will go to 16" GY Endurance when they are replaced.

So far good reviews on the Endurance, we have LT's on our 2005 Copper Canyon, what it came with from the factory. 235/85-16E at 3,042# ea. 12,168# on a GVWR of 12,300#, axle weight is right at 10,000# so tires have capacity.

You would likely need to upgrade to 16" rims to go LT's
