Jayco 310W or Nitro 305VL5 Toy Hauler

We're in the market for a toy hauler and have narrowed our choices to the two models listed above. We prefer units with slides on the side opposite the door side and only 2 axles. Can't seem to decide on which one to go with. Any comments pro or con on these two units would be appreciated.

We have the Jayco 310W. The Nitro 305 was one of our choices. It got ruled out because the Loft was useless to us and the Jayco had a residential size shower over the Nitro. I am very happy with our choice. The others we looked at were the Momentum by Grand Designs. Momentum was ruled out because of the weight. Y-Guy is correct, the dealer can make or break the experience. It may or may not have problems. If it does you want a dealer that stands behind you, not the manufacturer. Good luck. You may already have one, this is a month old..

If you like them both look at the dealer. A good dealer will make or break a good buying and ownership experience. Hang out in the service waiting room, really, drop by grab a seat and listen for an hour. I learned a lot by doing this.

Look at the warranty, fine print! Jayco offers or offered a 2 year warranty, which sounds good in theory. However Jayco, the largest family own manufacturer just sold out to Thor. Hard to say what the short/long term impact will be. Several recent comments about current Jayco owners haven't been the super reassuring comments but ahrd to say if it the dealer or Jayco. FR has the same type of comments so very hard to judge.

One thing with that floorplan is see which is easier to get in and out of the bathroom when it's turtled up,
