I have a 2011 keystone cougar with a silver front cap, from day one the cap has faded badly. I have tried everything nothing works so I took pictures and sent to dealer and keystone is going to repaint it. It is hard to find customer service like this.Way to go keystone.

Guess I'm gonna have to contact Keystone too. My Fuzion 399 toy hauler is in the same situation. The front cap is black, and after 1 year, it's already faded.

That's the problem with gel-coat and sunlight, it oxidizes. If you want a front or rear cap in any color, other than white, it has to be painted and clear coated, like motor vehicles. I think you will find that the more expensive trailers & motor homes are painted & clear coated while the mid range & lower end units use colored gel-coat, which cost about 75% less.

Good to hear Keystone is standing behind the problem. Ours faded also. Just wondering who is doing the paint; factory or dealer??

That's great to hear.
Mine was of a similar fate. It oxidized during the first year and kept getting worse until the gel coat was starting to give way to the fabric underneath.
So early 2012 I had it repainted with a two part epoxy paint. It's gorgeous and looks better than it ever did new. It also holds a terrific shine and doesn't chip as easily.
Your going to love the results!
