Leaf springs new best brand triple axle advice

2007 attitude FSAK 33’ toyhauler. Weighs about 11k withf tanks full. Been having bad luck with this trailer lately, I just noticed that one of my leaf springs, the front axle, the shackle had somehow flipped upside down, which Squashed the big rubber bushing and the leafspring looks kind of reverse curved now, as well as its corresponding leafspring on the other side. They are four leaf. The trailer is a 33 foot attitude toy hauler. I think all the axles are 5080 pound axles.

A shady trailer repair place said they wanted 2 thousand dollars to put all new 6 leaf springs on all axles along with new shackles. My question is if I replace the leaf springs on the front axle do I have to replace all the leaf springs on the other axles? And second question is what is the best brand of leaf springs to buy? And where is the best place to buy them? Was the trailer under Sprong in the first place with the four leaf type leaf springs? Should I get six leaf type for replacement? Or can I get away with just replacing the Messed up ones?

The equalizers are easily flipped. Letting us know the age of the coach and the loaded weight from a certified scale will help us help you.

Sorry. It’s a 2007 attitude fsak33’ toyhauler about 11k w/full tanks. Triple axle as Mentioned above. All the leaf springs have four leaves in them. If I just replace the front ones which look kind of flat now compared to the others do I have to replace all the springs?

Truth be known, the best thing to do is get rid of the springs. Go with a Mor/Ryde IS system on the trailer. Not cheap bur well worth it.

Did you fix the shackles on the front axle? If I lift my tires off the ground, triple axle, sometimes the shackles will flip. Not a big deal to put them back to normal position.

Any decent mechanic can do this job. You dont need a "trailer" repair shop. In fact some of those so called Trailer/RV repair shops are terrible. There's nothing magical about trailer leaf springs. Heck, I've even done the complete swap, HD equalizers, shackles, leaf springs etc myself. A good trusted mechanic is a valuable thing.

I bought mine here and replaced them myself. Added a Dexter HD shackle kit at the same time. Takes a bit of strength but the work is low tech bolt-on. I went up a bit in weight rating and the trailer rides better than ever.

Why would you even consider a "Shady" repair shop?

Rockwell American Axles....however for just replacing spring packs go to your axle mfg for actual answers about what works and what doesn't.
