can anyone comment on Alpine vs Cedar Creek vs Lifestyle vs Redwood?

The first two are good mid price RVs and the last or higher end. All but the Lifestyle are built on Lippert frames. Lifestyle uses "double stacked box steel tube frame", for that reason I give the Lifesttyle my top vote. The Redwood is a real nice looking fiver.
