I have been trying to have an issue with my fifth wheel fixed for about six months now.

I have what I feel is excessive pin box flex.

I have been turned down for warrantee twice by the manufacturer of the fifth wheel and by the frame manufacturer.

It is flexing enough that a seam on the outside is separating and panels in the closet are coming off. Also closet doors are moving when transferring weight from pin to the landing gear.

I have taken some pictures and taken some measurements.

I also have some video but don't know how to post them.

Thanks

Wow. You definitely have an issue. Have you tried getting the dealer involved? At least the dealer could back up visually what's going on.
Sometimes the MFG tends to shrug things off.
Also try submitting your problem to Trailer Life magazine. They can be a go between in warranty issues. It's out there for everyone to read. It's in their RV Resolutions section.

X2 on reporting the issue to Trailer Life. If no resolution, I would contact a lawyer asking them to send a letter to the MFG.

Yes the dealer has had it for a while. At first they were telling me its normal, but finally admitted its not right. They took pictures and measurements and sent in for warranty twice and was denied both times. Great idea about Trailer Life magazine, I will try that.
