Missing a/c return air grill

I have a Lifestyle 5th wheel made by Evergreen RVs. The two a/c units are mounted on top of the camper and have ducts that run down both sides of the camper to distribute the air. There is a return air vent in each of the ducts. One of the grills that holds the air filter in place fell out with the vibration of traveling. It must have fallen on top of the slide out and then was pushed outside when the slide was put out. Anyway, it is gone, and I need a replacement. Can't go to Evergreen as they went out of business several years ago. I have checked the internet and some of the local parts dealers around here. Does anyone have an idea of where I should look? The air return vent is 6x12 inches. I have to find something so the filter will stay in place.

That is the same setup in my Lifestyle but my grill is different. Does your grill have a filter behind it or is the filter in the a/c?

You can find a wide assortment of that sort of vent cover at Loews or Home Depot.

Very common product used in Residential and Commercial Construction.

Buy based on actual hole size.

OP I glued small pcs of 1X material on top side of roof panel above screw hole with LocTite PL3 Construction Adhesive then pre drilled holes thru block after adhesive had set. I used a drill bit the size of the shank of the screw so block above would not split when running the screws in.

You need to post a picture of the thing you want. My trailer has a ducted system also and had a ceiling cover/filter exactly as the one I pictured above. My new air conditioner, an Atwood, has one similar and my sons trailers both have Colman with similar ceiling covers/filter. I have never come across an RV with a roof air conditioner that did not have a similar ceiling unit. :?

Edit:
Here is a ceiling unit of a ducted Colman Airxcel air conditioner. Does yours like look like this or similar?

I'd check a local RV parts store, those a/c units are standardized. I needed the inside filter hold and went to the local shop they had a whole big box full of them, apparently a common replacement part.

What make air conditioner do you have? As far as I have seen, all trailers and motorhomes with air conditioners have the return air as part of the conditioner itself (actually, it is part of the ceiling cover but contains the filter). It should be available at just about any RV place or on the internet.
