Onan generator 5500

I have a 2016 keystone raptor toy hauler and my 5500 onan generator runs for about 30 min and shuts off. It will start again and run fine but if you turn on anything more than lights or TV it shuts off.

Another case of: This HAS to still be under warranty. Take it to the dealer to get it fixed. Since you can create the problem at will by increasing the load, they should be able to verify the problem easily.

It probably is an electronic control board failure or a low voltage condition......neither of which you can fix yourself.

Is the vent on your gas tank plugged, possible from dirt or insects building a nest?
