Has anybody ever bought tires from this business and if so what did you think of them. They have good prices but I don't want to wind up with 2 year old tires or bad service.

I found a little info on this site but virtually nothing from a Google search except for their website.

Thanks, Danny

Many local tire stores are part of a nation wide road hazard program. Don't rule them out. The local dealer where I bought from is not but said he would honor a road hazard failure away from home. Would like to have the old tire back but did not expect me to carry an old tire long distances to bring it back.

For some reason I can't post a message that is very long. I'll give details when I can. Thanks to all who replied.

I bought four Carlise ST225/75 15 LRE HD tires from ATW-Tires on Ebay.

IMO...FWIW
Find your online tire deal and determine full pricing. Call a national tire chain and ask about mount balance. In my experience, they'll try to meet or beat the price you're getting. Many of the big boy tire chains have salesman working on commission, so they're going to be interested in making a deal. Complete the full transaction with them (including road hazard warranty) and then you'll have nationwide service in the event of a failure. If you buy online and have your local "mom and pop" tire shop mount/balance, then that's where your warranty is (if any at all). For as much as I drive/tow/haul, I like the idea of having road hazard warranty recognized by a national chain. This is one of the exceptions I use when deciding whether or not to buy from small and local businesses.

x 5 I ordered from trailer tires and wheels. Told Rusty I wanted fresh tires. Had 5 sets of LT's delivered of the next size up with rims to a campground. Tires were less than 3 months old. Mounted, balanced and stainless steel stems all aired to exactly 80 pounds when delivered.

X either 4. ,or 5 or 6... Looks like we missed a number.. BUT you get the idea, call Scott and you won't regret it.

Thanks for the replies. I had already made up my mind not to buy from them unless I got a few good recommendations here. I'll spend a few more dollars and get tires from a trusted source.
