Hi,
Does anyone have one of these who can give some feedback? Especially interested in hearing about how it does in colder weather with a large family.

Any other similar models you considered? Any comments on this brand? Most reviews seem positive.

thanks
Matt

I have a Open Range 399 BHS. It does well in moderate cold down to 20ºF or so.
The current 3X models have even more insulation than my 2012.
Nevertheless I don't think they are built for extreme cold.

If you want to RV/survive in extreme cold there are better brands. Artic Fox , Excel, DRV are a few.

Why not go to the Open Range owners forum and ask there? I am happy with my 337RLS.

Well, I'm betting the sidewalls are better insulated than anything else in it's price range. 2 and 3/4 inch thick sidewalls. 3/4 inch insulation behind all wall studs as well which is very unique.
