palomino sabre 32bhok6?

Well, I think it is time to move up. We are gonna be upgrading from our current Palomino Puma 259rbss to something nicer. I was just wondering who has owned a Palomino 32bhok6 and if you are satisfied. I have read that a lot of people say it is a lot of bang for your buck but i am not so much interested in all of the bells and whistles as much as I am interested in build quality.
Can anyone tell me what the subfloor is made of? Is it OSB or is it plywood?

I am also looking at a Jayco 31.5fbhs. I know I am happy with the build quality there. Just trying to make a decision between the two.

thanks

Couple across the street from us has a new Columbus Palomino. It is a very poor quality fifthwheel. It flooded for the 2nd time 2 days ago. I thought it was just him when he was telling the happy hour guys but after helping with the sliding door and seeing what he was telling us I can only think what a sucking rv to own. Camping world and forest river kinda gave him the finger so a lawyer is involved. I feel it isn't all models but Quality is not in the rv industry anymore.

Bought a 34RLQS last summer and so far we are really impressed with it. We have spent about 40 nights in it and really have not found anything major that we would change, also no problems that needed warranty work.

The Sabre forum also has "Sabre Sam", a factory Rep who really goes out of his way to answer questions. The owners forum seems like many people have very positive reviews of the unit.

Best of luck!

It's a great benefit having SabreSam for us Sabre Owners...goes a long way!

SabreSam's a huge asset to Sabre owners (though, I'll give the other factory reps on the site a lot of credit - from what I know, they spend their own time helping people).

I would really like to move to a Sabre (the 35QSIK) but it's a lot of coin, the best price I've seen is from Wana RV in Indiana. They are only several miles from the factory.

With that said, I'd LOVE to own one. The Sabre, unlike many others, uses 100% lamination on six sides, fully welded, and the roof trusses are also metal (others use a hybrid of wood for floor joists or rafters). Many brands use loose sheet filon on the rear walls with wood, and the same for the sides of the slide rooms.

As soon as we walked into a Sabre 34REQS-6 our search was over. Factory ordered it the way we wanted and have been extremely satisfied.

I'm in love with the 34reqs just can't make the jump financially right now. Hoping to do so in the next year but unfortunately the stick and brick needs a deck this year.

Hey Will, I think I can help you. I was at the Sabre factory in IND.and saw how they were made. I was impressed with what I saw. As for the floor it is OSB
no seam in the main floor, one solid sheet and it is made special, the glue used to make the OSB is marine grade and the floor has a 25 year warrenty.
After going there with my wife we went to Awana RV in Shipshawana and ordered a 34 REQS. WE should get it in March.
I am no spokesman for Awana RV but I can tell you I could not find a better price and it included a fifth wheel hitch installed in my truck.

Good to here Beefer.
We are going to check out a 34REQS tomorrow.
