Sanitizing Warter system

I tried did a different method of getting bleach into the fresh water tank to sanitizing the water system after setting over the winter. I took the filter element out of the filter and pored Out a little water and filled up the bowl with bleach and put back on and turned on the water. When I thought the tank was about 2/3 full I did it again. Both times the water flowing through the filter I could not smell bleach at the filter and I could after I fill the tank and ran water through the all of the facets. I put about 1/4 tank of water before I started. Much easer than gettin into the storage to get to the pump clear hose to draw bleach water out of a container

That's exactly what I do.
Super EZ to just add some bleach to the filter canister and run the water
Make sure you don't run the bleached water through an ice maker or RO filter.
Don't let the bleach sit in there for more than 24 hours

As long as the water is filtered before it goes to the tank this should work. Most older trailers filter after the tank so it would not work on these. You don't say what trailer you have so it is hard to give advise.
