Smallest trailer with a separate garage

We're seriously considering swapping our current class A for a 5th wheel and looking at our options.

Recently, we attended the local Sports, Boat and Travel show here in Denver and came away with more questions than answers.

The 5th wheel right by the entry/exit was NICE...albeit rather LARGE!!! The one thing that caught my eye was the separate garage area... I had previously dismissed the "Toy Hauler" type trailers cuz, frankly, I don't wanna sleep with the aroma of grease, oil, rubber and road grime filling my snoring schnoz...

So, what's the smallest 5th wheel available with a 'detached garage'? There's just gonna be be and the wife and two rather large dogs so the sleeping arrangements only need to include (at least) a queen size bed.

We need the garage space to be approximately 8-9 feet long and at least 63" wide (we're currently toting our Toad on an Aluma 638LW trailer... our sidecar fits on this trailer like it was made for it...

A second option would be towing doubles... what kind of 5th wheel frame is required to mount a receiver on the rear... I've read of some 5th wheel trailers that have a somewhat 'flexible' frame to begin with and adding another 1,000 lbs of trailer behind an already questionable foundation isn't something I really want to explore.

We have a really small TH (23 ft) with separate garage. I lay down a piece of carpet and the garage becomes our living room with a big opening with mosquito net, porch (I added a few eye bolts and straps to the ramp/door) and soon a wood burning stove.
Big Brother is watching.

Look into a Forest River XLR Hyperlite. Mine is 35'2" with seperate 10' garage. Small slide makes all the difference in the world, as does the 1600lb pin weight and 9200 lb dry weight. Pulls like a dream!

The KZ Sportsmans have smaller trailers with a 10' garage. Small means between 30' & 35'. As noted above, unless your equipment leaks, there is no smell in the trailer. We leave our quads in our trailer between trips and sometime we get the smell off the tires. No gas.

We do one night stops and drop the bed part way and sleep about the motocycles. No smell at all. Just have to remember we are 4' in the air when I get out for my nightly bathroom run.

We like the fact we use all of our 30' toy hauler rather than having an empty garage in the back most nights.

Check out Heartland. We have had a Roadwarrior 5ver and a Torque bumper pull. Both were 36 ft.
but both had a separate garage and the Torque had a slide out. We had no issues with either and Heartland was great to work with. We no longer pull anything but they ere great THers.
