Sofa/Dinette slide adjustment

I need to adjust the slide about 1/2" towards the door. It looks pretty easy. It may be best to move the sofa off the slide to make the slide lighter. Has anyone done it themselves.

Horizontal adjustment

1. Loosen 2 carriage bolts “A” on each bracket located at the end of each guide tube.
2. Room is ready to be positioned horizontally by pushing on the outside, sidewall or by using a prying devise inserted into the opening between the room and coach.
Note: Use caution when using prying devise so seals do not become damaged.

Open the slide only about 4 inches so you can see the alignment. Mark the frame where the wall is at the end you are going to move away from so you can keep track of how far it has moved.

Go get it!

I have adjusted mine in the driveway both for position in the opening and to rotate the top front corner (and all the other corners since they are attached, DUH!) down and forward to square the slide up in the frame.

It isn't hard. Just go slowly and try not to overshoot. It is more trouble to move it back some than to do it right the first time.

I think it's best to let dealer do it
