The following was posted in the DRV Owners' Group on Facebook:

Attn. all friends and family of Wheels RV. We had a New 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 39DBRS3 Vin# 5KEAG3923H1317718 stolen off of our lot Saturday night about 10:30pm. We are offering a $1,000 cash reward to anyone that can give us information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people that did this. If you or anyone you know was driving on 412 Saturday evening about this time and saw anything or a large truck pulling a large fifth wheel west on 412 towards Siloam Springs please let us know ASAP. Contact Tontitown Police Dept at 479-361-9168 if you have any info at all.
If all of my friends and family would please share this I would appreciate it.

This DRV Mobile Suites 5th wheel was stolen in Arkansas and would have 317718 written in white marker paint on the pinbox. Please keep your eyes open.

Well, the word is out about the stolen rig and also some extra information that the OP did not expect. All that is happening now is repeat of the same old stuff. This thread has run its' course.

I just looked in my back yard and it isn't there, darn! :B

Folks, the reality is that if they want it bad enough they are going to get it no matter what locks you have on your storage compartments. As has been suggested, they aren't difficult to get into at the best of times.

Most slam lock storage compartment locks use the same two sided key. All the old cam locks will open faster with a screw driver rammed in and turned than inserting a key and turning it.

Rusty you and I agree on most things. CH751 has been out there for many years. It's not a main door lock. Nor are the DRV baggage locks.

Info is good, I could post the baggage door numbers but just mentioning that all DRV locks on baggage doors are keyed the same should either get people to change them or not.

I have mentioned this on other sites along with this one several times before.

Also maybe this will shame DRV into having several locks instead of just one.

When I bought some lockable baggage latches at Challenger Door in Elkhart area I talked to the lady about all the DRV keys being the same and I just got the "eye Roll".

I smell a rat!! Someone correct me but unless the house battery was installed I'm not sure the landing gear would have had enough power to operate with just the current supplied from the pig-tail. All the units (new anyway)on dealer's lots we have shopped have had the house batteries removed. This sounds like much more than a "crime of opportunity" to me. I'm just sayin' !!!!

I think people should be made aware how STUPID it is to have ALL outside baggage doors keyed the same on newer DRV's!!! I also think it is STUPID they continue to use the CH751!!!

Before I knew the the baggage doors were all the same on DRV's I bought more cylinders to match the baggage locks and got rid of the CH751. If SOMEONE had posted this important info before I wasted my money I could picked any key number and made ALL my outside locks keyed the same and different from EVERY OTHER NEWER DRV out there.

NOW people are informed.

Maybe with all the repair issues needed with the new units maybe the thieves will be posting on here how to fix the problems since they cant take it in for warranty work.

Folks, please think about what you're doing here. All of this is on the Internet and available to anyone who knows how to use a search engine. Do you really think it's wise to publish the key codes to our rigs on an Internet forum?

If there were hundreds of different key codes..... But there's not.

Just Google

It's really not a big secret. Now for those of us who've changed our locks...It just means they'll use a crowbar to open them. 😞

While the control panel for the slides is located inside my trailer, the leveling system is located outside and accessible using the CH751 key.

The control panel for the slides and the landing gear is inside the Drv's, front door is not a 751 key. So, if it was locked it shouldn't have been easy, so maybe not locked?

The controls panel for the landing gear is easily accessed with the famous CH751 key.

Oh BTW ALL the newer DRV's are still that way. I bought the replacement cylinders from RVlocks to change out the CH751's to match the baggage door locks. Better so all exterior locks were keyed the same. THEN I found out all DRV baggage locks are the same, GRRRRR.
