Television mount pulled out of wall

When we arrived at our last campsite after a sixty mile trip, my wife noticed that the television was about to fall on to the floor. When checking I discovered that the Mount had pulled loose from the wall. Anyone else ever have this happen?

You may want to try some type of clip straps to secure when traveling. Mine are hidden behind the TV so not to be seen when parked.

Just to add I would put construction adhesive behind whatever board you install,remember that fastener's only can support at the spots they screwed into whereas a nice bunch of beads on your attatchment plate will spead out the load over a MUCH bigger area,i've hung cabinets on walls that way and never had a failure.

No but when I mounted my TV wall mount I used a 3/4-inch flat board up first and anchored it to the wall with its four corners using MOLY BOLTS. Then screwed the TV mount into the larger piece of 3/4-board.
Those thin walls are just way to thin to support very much weight.
