Hey all, looking for a toy hauler 5th wheel. My primary needs are large bunk for my kids (2 over 6') and decent kitchen for the wife. Also need washer dryer hook ups.

We looked at a grand design today with a 14.5 garage and it was nice. Need a better kitchen though, there was no room beside the oven, but the counter (if you turned around) was big.

Any brand to look at beside grand design? Who makes the "best" toy hauler?

Closest thing I've found is a Fuzion 379. Is there anything else similar?

Main things we need (If a TT has these I'd get it)

11' + garage
W/D hookup
< 40'
max tow is around 16500#
Open kitchen layout (preferably cross seating)
Decent storage in and/or out

I would try our toy hauler forum.
Those folks may already have what your looking for and can give you some units/brands to look at. Maybe a mod can move you over if you request

Makes sense, thanks for the feedback.

I know the Grand Designs are generally better built, especially living in full time. We checked out their Momentum line and didn't like the floor plans.

We're in a Rockwood Signature right now, so kind of the same thing. However, as well as this is built, they don't innovate and have a terrible cabinet layout.

We just sold our 2010 Fuzion 383, and bought a 2019 Momentum 351M. We've only had it a few weeks, but I'll have to admit that I'm quite impressed with the solidity of the fixtures of the Momentum, compared to the Fuzion. And with the Fuzion you could feel someone walking around in the trailer, not necessarily feel the movement, but you could feel the vibrations underfoot. Not with the Momentum, very solid. Granted it has the auto-level thingy, and we had the JT Strongarms on our Fuzion, but it never felt as planted as the Momentum.

Anyway, just a data point.

Thanks, we're leaning toward a Keystone Fuzion with an 11' garage and nice sized kitchen.

Besides the Fuzion and Momentums, what are the high quality toy haulers?

The problem nowdays is that everyone has a 4 seat SxS instead of a couple quads and dirtbikes. Most of the new toy haulers have large garages at the sacrifice of the living quarters, so they can fit these larger toys. When I had my Fuzion it had about a 11' garage which was fine for what toys we had, along with giving us a decent sized kitchen with Island. The 11" garage was plenty of room for the kids. If you are not stuck on looking at new, maybe something a few years older with a smaller garage might fit the bill.
