Ultimate tire and wheel combo

I have done some searching and haven't found any info on these. 17.5 Wheels
17.5 tires
I'm looking at the 215/75R17.5 Load Range H Sailun S637 Radial Tire for $265 These tires are crazy tough with a rating of 4800lbs. When talking with the guys at this site they say if you pull less than 10k miles per year these tires will last 7 years in which he recommends all trailer tires should be changed out. From what I gather these are a commercial size.

If you want to stay with 16's they also have these 16"

If you want the BEST 16" or 17.5" trailer tire buy GY. They WILL repair your RV if you have a tire failure. Since 07 their tires have been VERY trouble free.

I am on my 4th set of either 16" or 17.5" GY's and never have had even a blowout with many thousands of miles.

85psi is the minimum for the GY "G" tire. If your rig came with E's 85 is most likely the proper pressure for your rig. I went from GY "E" to GY "G" on my Avion with 80psi rims and ran 85psi with the G tires and had perfect wear with thousands of miles.

What is your tire rated at? At what psi? a g tire rated at 4085lbs at 110psi is only good for 3152lbs at 85psi

85psi is the minimum for the GY "G" tire. If your rig came with E's 85 is most likely the proper pressure for your rig. I went from GY "E" to GY "G" on my Avion with 80psi rims and ran 85psi with the G tires and had perfect wear with thousands of miles.

I have 16", G rated,110 PSI Sailun's on my OEM rims

The problem is you are overloading those tires at 80psi

No but a tire rated at 4080lbs at 110 is only good for 2967 at 80psi
So if I'm going to buy new wheels to support more psi I might as well get 17.5's

Sailun has been getting very good reviews for the 16" 'G' rated tires.

Your trailer had 'E' rated so the 'G' is a good upgrade \\\\ at GVWR of 14K not sure you really need 17.5" w/'H' rated tires

You buy those tires and wheels, you'll never have a blow out problem. Unless of course you abuse 'em. :B

We have H rated GY tires on our MS and so far can't complain. I've talked to a few MS owners and nobody that I've talked to has had tire troubles. I say go for it.....
