What do you know about Kustom Koach?

Howdy all,

A search brought me little information. Can any of you tell me about the quality of Kustom Koach? I think they were a Canadian RV manufacturer that went out of business a few years ago. I'm looking at a 2007 LEGACY LW 328.

Any issues with this manufacturer? How about the insulation? I this a 4 season rig?

We have a 2004 LW275 that we have owned since 2009 and we have been very happy with it. We haven't had any issues with it in the years we've had it. They were built by TravelAire in Red Deer Alberta and were owned by Glendale who made Titanium brand fivers. When Glendale when belly up, they took TravelAire down with them. Heartland bought the patents for the Titanium design and actually made models for a few years, but I think they stopped making them as well.

In my opinion, the Kustom Koach RV's were a superior product to the Glendale product.

kustom Koach and Gendale Canada were bought out by a manufacturer from the USA and then went bankrupt about three months later. Both brands where consided well built.

They went out of business in 2010. Triple E took over the floor plans but the Kustom Koach was never brought back.

The upgrades I've made have been to the electrical outlets. I replaced the OEM stab connection ones in all but 3 locations.

I've added outlets in the pass through storage, waste tanks, and one of the side compartments so I can do additional heat.

There is no heated basement. I do use mine in low temperatures--so far as low as -36 C (-33 f).

Seeing as how "Kustom" and "Koach" were both spelled with a "K" instead of a "C", I'll figure it's a higher end 5er?:B:h

Hi,

I have a class C Kustom Koach. The waste tanks are enclosed but not heated. Double pain windows are standard. I have had few "house" or other problems with mine.
