Winterize - Keepin critters out ---

Got our 2002 Montana 5er last May and now need to winterize it. Most likely going to take it to a dealer to have it done. One question DW has is how can we keep critters(mice, etc) from taking up residence. We've heard everything from moth balls, to peppermint, to dryer sheets. It's stored outside in a lot that is at least paved. Also wondering if it'd be a good idea to put tarps on the roof and secure them with bungee straps....THANKS....

Vulcaneer...

May I ask WHERE you set the mouse traps to be the most effective? We know that's coming... we live in a heavily wooded area.

Thanks in advance,,

I can tell you that New Hampshire mice are not put off by Mothballs, or Dryer sheets. They love them. Never tried peppermint. I can also tell you that snap traps are effective. I like the Maxx Traps the best.

I could make my wife a mouse coat. No damage to the trailer.
