2 years ago spent months getting rid of the house and junk to be full timers. WELL... My mother in law passed and we got her house.
The Good. Taxes and utilities about 2k/year. Place to service RV and store bikes, boat and good medical. In North TX so spring and fall weather good.
The Bad. Out of the way to our normal destinations. Upkeep, worry about breakins, too hot in summer, too cold in winter.
What would you do?

I know I'll catch heat for this, but most FT'ers I know only last for less then 10 years. Those that are FT'ers normally have a home base they use that never get talked about on this forum.

Think you got a gift here, don't throw it away on a dream.

Sell it, pocket the money, and keep your current life style. Be free! Be happy! That's why you went full timing isn't it!

If break-ins are worrisome check into an ADT system.

You might have the perfect setup without even knowing it. Nice spring and fall stay in TX. Hot summer explore the north, cold winter explore the south.

Try it for a year or so, then make your choice.

Hard to beat the above two answers. Couldn't say it any better if I'd tried.

Well, apparently you have been full timing for almost two years without owning a home. Which do you prefer? Your choice, your decision. :@
